Case Study: MW Logistics Website Revamp
MW Logistics, founded in 2001, is a privately held third-party logistics provider serving Fortune 500 companies with transportation management, yard control, freight brokerage, drayage, and EV solutions. They pride themselves on service excellence, community impact, and innovation, including the #1 MBE electric vehicle provider partnership with Lazer Logistics .
The Challenges
MW Logistics’s website before the revamp faced several issues:
- Unclear information hierarchy in navigation, with overlapping menu items and dispersed content .
- Dense content that made service details hard to scan: intermodal, bulk, yard management, without visuals or structured sections lazerlogistics.com+4mwlogistics.com+4mwlogistics.com+4.
- Low conversion for carriers and agents, with signup flows buried and lacking clarity mwlogistics.com+2mwlogistics.com+2htmlcodex.com+2.
- Minimal SEO structure—poor meta titles, weak headings, and service pages lacked keyword optimization.
Our Approach
- Restructured top-level menu: About, Solutions, EV, Carriers, Agents, Careers. Added focused CTAs like “Become a Carrier” and “Join as Agent”.
- Organized content into clear sub-pages for each service (Bulk, Drayage, Intermodal, Yard Mgmt). Added subheadings, bullet lists, and visuals with relevant CTAs
- Enhanced visibility of agent and carrier portals with clear benefits—dashboard tech, ACH payments, 24/7 support.
- Showcased EV partnership with Lazer, MWCares philanthropy, and tech capabilities (McLeod TMS, MacroPoint tracking, API/EDI, Power BI dashboards
- Updated meta titles and headings with targeted keywords (e.g. “Dedicated Transportation Solutions”). Applied internal linking and optimized images.
